BBQ @ home tonite....

so even though can't get on MSN tonite - ive better plan tonite! ha, asked gemini, pisces big den & gf, as well as janet & katie (and their other halves) to come along and BBQ @ my place.... i think it was fun :D i think i drank too much (almost the whole bottle) but of course i ain't as drunk as the other day....

too bad we all need to work tomorrow.. oh well, hehehe :P at least i'm done w/ operation review w/ Sunil today and had fun during the BBQ! :D

glad that most of my close friends - from colleges & from work, are here to spend the last "working days" of the yr together :)

Earthquake in Taiwan....

i can't believe earthquake in Taiwan actually affect lives in HK - those underwater internet cables are DAMAGED (who cares what the names ah!? Like Pacific 1 Pacific 2... etc etc).. ANYWAY, the most important is that i can't get on MSN!!!! can't google!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT?!

Ngong Ping 360 - end of the Christmas holiday 2006~~~

so today is the last day of the 1-wk long Christmas holiday - my gosh, holiday is REALLY TOO SHORT!!! and times REALLY FLIES when it's HAPPY time :P i guess i should be "glad" that i did REALLY RELAX - NO WORK done during the holiday!! but then it maybe bad when i go back to work tmr *oh well, i'll leave it tmr then* hahaha

DVD review: 軟硬《Long Time No See演唱會2006》

So sales started 12/22 and i got TWO sets on 12/23 - one for me and one for vince. I watched TWICE yesterday - 1st time by myself, and watched the 2nd time while those guys are drinking @ my place. Watching together and have someone to laugh with is always better than watching by oneself - and still fun to watch again :) (side note we had asian food for christmas eve's dinner @ Lai King Wan - western cusine is just too expensive!!!)

Anyway, back to the DVD review. Frankly speaking I think it's a bit costly!! but oh well, I guess it's kinda worth it gwa?! First 2 DVD was their last show (10th night) with Aaron Kwok as guest. I'm not sure why they've to break it down to 2 DVD? (too large mei?!) have the feeling of watching VCD as one have to change in between loh... anyway, no big deal i guess. Best is the 3rd DVD - with different guests performing each night: Leon Lai, Jacky Cheung, Leo Ku, Paul Wong & Gong Sek Leung, Eason, Miriam & Grasshopper - out of the 7 shows, grasshopper (the one yekini & i went) is really the BEST! (but strangely can't find Andy Lau & Hacken Lee's night?!). Weird....

Also in the 3rd DVD there's a part called "Softhard Wardrobe" is also really funny - they've actually went to Mongkok to buy those fake T-shirt! hahahaha.. funny~~

oh, and of course, i've already get jan's tennis shoe on my mobile ;)

*my gosh i've spent too much this month!!! tonite will have korean BBQ, and tmr will go to Ngong Ping 360 (昂坪360) - so i think i can stop "bleeding" after tmr! kekekekekeke*

today is the day in Chinese calendar which family get together for dinner to "celebrate" winter - "make winter"... hmm.. since i'm still on holiday so no need to work (hoho)... yet did go back to office and had lunch w/ some of the colleagues.. okay la...

even though i'm "on holiday", did get quite a few things done - get $ transferred from bank to bank.. paid visa card balance (and right on time - 14:59); delivered next yr's calander to ah Goh... AND most importantly - got my passport renewed!! *yippy!!* (unbelivable is that the immigration officer kept asking me why i wanna renew my passport - er... b/c it only have 3 pages left?! and he kept like, oh, can you use it before this trip blah blah blah

come on, i'm PAYING extra, not like i don't like the passport # so i wanna change or sth!!! just give me the freaking new passport! @_@'''

Anyway... after that is alreayd like 4-ish - nope, decided not to meet today (a bit too much lately).. and still got some time before dinner (going to have make winter dinner w/ mom & grandma) so, just spent some time in the library and read a magazine (i can't believe the books there are SOOOO OLD that i don't even wanna touch it!!) that's kinda weird.....

make winter dinner - had some non-traditional make winter dinner - Thai food instead. Generally speaking quality is okay - and price is VERY GOOD! wow... anyway, i guess it's good to spend some dinner time w/ mom & grandma - not that often!

just went home after this early dinner.... got Curse Of The Golden Flower tickets @ APM tmr 17:40 - actually wanna watch Confession of Pain, but i bought the wrong one! oh well, sorry! really too bad! :( *i just realize i've even bought it w/ a WRONG LOCATION* what's wrong w/ me today!!!!! >.< let's see if i can change it tmr

i think the thing is really bothering me - for some reason i really can't sleep well in the last few days... *sleeping late but got up early.... and many different dreams* geez... i hope things will be better - maybe singing k tmr may help!!!!!

ALOHA~~~~~~~~ a note from Hawaii

so just a quick note from Hawaii..... mid of my vacation kekekee

weather is super nice - even though my sis claim it's a bit too cold *LOL* only went to the beach once (the day i arrived) but it's okay, i think i'm going to get more tan by the pool later on today. Went to Pearl Harbor Arizonal Museum; Japanese lunch; more Japanese food *buffet dinner*.... and then spent like 2 days in the mall (unfortunately - as i missed the circle island tour yesterday (oh well, too bad). But at least i read like 2 books when i was in barnes & nobles (LOL) 1st time to get online in the last copule of days - yeh, i did chk my work's email but i think it's alright kekekeke... spent like 80 bucks in Walmart alone (wakakkakakakakakaa) mostly for Elvin loh :P may go big shopping (for myself) and North Shore in the next few days..

eating a lot (too much) wahahahahaha.... (just not sleep enough except last nite) hehehe... well, anyway, gotta get ready for the pool for now. glad to spend some time in Hawaii :P
